At the age of 12, Kylie Myers was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer. When her and her family learned the heartbreaking news that the cancer had spread and that she was not going to make it… Kylie asked for a kitten.
This is when Kylie met Liza, a tiny little shelter kitty who clearly had a rough start to her life. Little did the family know, Liza would not only help Kylie transition to the other side, but her incredible empathy led her to assist them in the grieving process after Kylie passed away.
I don’t know about you… but this story left me in tears. It is incredible how stories like this remind us what truly matters in life and to stop fussing over the small stuff.
